Anti-discrimination information packs

Know where it can be found and how it works…

This compilation of materials provides interested parties, confidential counsellors at the university, potential confidants and affected persons themselves with low-threshold information on the established procedure at Heidelberg University.

Processes relating to the university's internal procedures, confidential counselling and/or complaint options in the event of misconduct, sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying, stalking) and conflicts are presented in a comprehensible form.

Confidential contact points offer those affected a protected space to discuss their questions and explore possible courses of action. Persons in a supervisory position (lecturers, deans, deans of studies, managers) in their area of work or study can also be approached by those affected. Like all members of the university, they are responsible for respectful and fair behaviour. However, a conversation with them is not confidential, but is already a first step on the official channels. To ensure that a conversation with someone seeking advice can be conducted in a trustworthy and appropriate manner, you will find information on conducting conversations here. A form for documentation provides affected persons with reference points for their own memory log.
