OUT NOW! The Palgrave Handbook of Feminist, Queer, and Trans* Narrative Studies, published in July 2025 by Vera Nünning and Corinna Assmann, faculty members of Heidelberg’s English Department.
The Palgrave Handbook of Feminist, Queer and Trans* Narrative Studies provides a comprehensive overview of the intersection between narrative theory and feminist, queer and trans* theory. Bringing together eminent and emerging scholars from a range of disciplines, it foregrounds connections between new views on gender and recent developments in narratology. This field-changing volume shows how the proliferation of new ways to think about gender identity and sexuality demands a strong reconsideration of narratological methodologies.
