Confidential counselling Contact persons according to the State Higher Education Act (LHG)

If you are looking for confidential counselling, would like to find out about the options available to you in order to clarify a situation that is stressful for you and/or would like information on legal aspects or internal university procedures, you can contact the contact persons listed below.

Section 4a (1) and (2) of the Baden-Württemberg State Higher Education Act states that the contact persons for questions relating to sexual harassment and anti-discrimination are ‘not bound by instructions in this function’. They are also subject to a duty of confidentiality and provide confidential advice.

They can be approached in the event of violations of the Senate Guideline on Fair Conduct in the context of (sexual) harassment, bullying, stalking and (multiple) discrimination (for example in the form of sexist, racist, anti-Semitic, anti-Muslim, ableist, trans- or queer-hostile actions or statements). The basis for the counselling is the subjective perception of the person seeking advice with regard to the discrimination they have experienced.
