Communication interface Central contact point
As part of GUIDE, the Central Contact Point acts as an important communication interface when it comes to conflicts and misconduct. It is available to provide advice to affected persons and their confidants and, if necessary, refers them to the relevant contact persons. It is subject to a duty of confidentiality and can, at the request of the person concerned, approach other university offices for further steps and to obtain a legal categorisation.

In the event of work or study conflicts and violations of the Senate Guideline on Fair Conduct in the context of (sexual) harassment, bullying, stalking and (multiple) discrimination (for example in the form of sexist, racist, anti-Semitic, anti-Muslim, ableist, trans- or queer-hostile actions or statements), it can be approached. The basis for our counselling is the subjective perception of those seeking advice with regard to the discrimination they have experienced.
In order to deal professionally with work and study conflicts and misconduct, the central point of contact should optimise the interlinking and cooperation between all conflict counselling and processing offices at the university and is in contact with them.
The central contact point is responsible for counselling, referrals to other contact points in the university support system and the follow-up of counselling processes. The central contact point is also responsible for training all university members, intervision and supervision, monitoring and the entire conceptual implementation of GUIDE procedures for dealing with conflicts and misconduct.
