Aspect Ethnic | cultural | national origin
The university is committed to the diversity of its members in its mission statement. International staff and students are just as much at the centre of this aspect as Germans with a history of immigration and migrant university members.

Ethnic, cultural and national origin in studies, research and employment
Pluralistic perspectives enrich teaching, research and collaboration at the university. The focus of our work is to raise awareness for an appreciative approach to ethnic, cultural and national diversity, to identify disadvantageous and discriminatory structures, language and actions, to build up anti-racist knowledge and to create a supportive environment for all.
