The mobile parent-child room KidsBox
As a family-friendly university, Heidelberg University is expanding its range of services to support flexible childcare with the KidsBoxes. The KidsBox is a rollable cabinet - when it is unfolded, it becomes an area where children can play or get changed or cared for by their parents.
Content and Function
The KidsBox is suitable for children from 1.5 to 7 years of age and contains:
- a travel cot, which can also be used as a playpen,
- a folding mattress and sleeping mat for crawling and playing on the floor,
- a clamping seat for docking to your own desk,
- Stool and table for slightly older children,
- Books, various toys and drawing utensils,
- a changing mat,
- disinfectant and first aid equipment,
- hygiene products and much more.
Dimensions: 110 x 123 x 66 cm (WxHxD), weight approx. 85 kg.
It is a mobile thanks to stable light rollers and can be fully closed.
